If Only

My dear, you don't know
How I love you. I wish you did.
When I think about you, my heart stops.
My one wish would be that you would
Love me back.
I would sing for yoy
Dance for you
Do anything to please you.
If only you know,
My life would be so much easier.
But, for now, I will bear the burder
Of love alone.
My love,
When I see you, my heart melts
Like wax to the flame,
If only you knew.
I would give you my heart if you'd take it
My soul if you wanted it
I'd give you the world if I held it
I'd die
Suffer
Cry
All for you.
And life would be so simple,
If only you knew.

I wrote this a long time ago. it was my first poem ever. I had written at the top:
"Dedicated to Samuel Alan Heath".
