I bought 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' today. It was at a consignment store for $2. Bargains, loves, bargains. I also bought 3 new shirts and 2 pairs of jeans.
I have a new accomplishment-I can do 50 sit-ups, 10 push-ups, and 1 pull-up. Muscles of steel, loves. Muscles. Of. Steel.
Kidding. I've got to work on those pull-ups, my right arm is considerably stronger than my left, so I pull up at a diagonal. Mum thinks it's funny.
The horses are good. All muddy. Been raining a lot, they love to cake themselves in mud, knowing that I can't bathe them in the winter. *grits teeth*
Much love!

Excellent book.
I read the several times about 5 years ago.
It probably where I pulled most of my policies I have today from.
Good work on the PT too.
One Pullup is impressive for any girl.
And 50 situps is about the average here.
(Granted we have to do it in 2 min though)
Keep up the good work.

Very good book. Jer bought a copy and I'm re-reading it for the second time. Also, if you get the chance, there's a study guide that goes with it. I'm planning on using it with a group of college girls.
Good thing you're reading it at your age. IKDG came out when I was in junior high. All my friends read it, but I never wanted to because I hated guys. Bad idea.
Now I wish I had read it earlier. So with all that to say - start young and you'll save yourself some pain.
50 sit-ups? Sweet. No one's going to mess with you.

I Kissed Dating Goodbye is a very good book. I read it a few years ago, started re-reading it again this year. Handed it to my twin and made him read it, and he made his brother read it before giving it back. Now I'm making my brother read it. I think he's gotten half way through it? but he's liking it too.
And just about any book that you can find for $2 is a pretty sweet deal

I agree, wonderful book. I also agree with carey. It's good your reading it now. My mom got it for me when I was 14, but I was rebellious and didn't read it. I eventually did, but I wish I had read it sooner. I luv ya girl!

I need to get past the first three pages. Every time I have a chance, I'm too wound up to sit still, or too sleepy to stay awake.
Har. Working toward 1.5 now. I need something besides a lopsided branch outside, really. Knobbly, kills my hands. xD
2 minutes? Um. I can do 50 in 10 minutes, I think. Ouch.
While visions of muddy horses dance in my head. Fall's great. If you're not in college *kick@everyone*, you can burn leaves and ride through the forest of leafless trees. Fun.
ROFL, Carey. Incidentally, Mark Ayers (Fellow Elevate-er) said exactly the same thing when I volunteered my pocketfull of razor blades to him for the Gaff tape. Is it really that obvious? I think I would have been better born a man. *cough*
FYI, yes, I do carry razor blades. 7 full-sized utility knife sized, one X-Acto knife-size, one mini utility blade, and one shaving razor blade, derived from an old razor. Still sharp enough to shave, but if you nick yourself, GOSH do those bleed! From experience. Ouch.
Joy, you have a twin? O_O Stellar! Stellar!
Steph, I ahd fun this evening. Bet karah's sleeping soundly. x3

Katy, just ignore the PHSS (Persistantly Hateful Spokesperson of Satan). His mind lives in the gutter.

Haha. For some reason that made me laugh. Maybe it's the chocolate and it being very late.
Thanks Carey. Much love.

Katy, he's not my blood twin. He's one of my adopted brothers and we are so close in age and everything that we call eachother our twin. Or at lest we did. He's the dude in the Marines right now.

actually carey, you're the one who is obsessed with "not-dating" "not-having a relationship" and "not-liking boys" -- i just find it a little weird that all you ever talk about is your brother. that's really strange. you should find guys OUTSIDE your family to be interested in. not your brother. that's all i'm saying.

Gosh, there's that word 'obsessed' again. Look, if I don't want to be in a relationship, that's my own decision. (They're more trouble than they're worth, anyway.)
I've got plenty of guy friends, I'm just not dating any of them. We have lots of fun together and they're all like brothers to me.
As for my brother -- we're like twins. There's nothing wrong with being close to my family.
