Fun day!
Woohoo! Thursday at about 11:00 AM I ran out to muck the horses' stall before lunch with some of Mum and Dad's friends...That failed. ;P I was walking around behind Flash, who was eating grain, and patted his butt. Apparently I scared him 'cause he jumped, then kicked me, right under my right rib cage. FUN. I've never felt pain like that before. For the first minute I just knew I couldn't bear it, knew I would go unconscious. Finally I rasped out "God, help me!" and felt a bit better. I laid out in the stall for about five minutes (examining the rafters. Whoever built them did a fairly good job, really. They might have used a better-quality wood, though.) before getting up the energy to get the mucking rake out, latch the gate, grab the dog, and walk back inside. Climbing the steps was fun. I collapsed in the laundry room and screamed for Mum. Of course my compassionate, caring brother ambles in after about a minute going "What?" "Get Mom!" "Why?" "GET MOM!" "She's in the shower. What do you need?" "JUST GET HER!" "Why?" I wanted to punch him when Mum runs up in in a towel, dripping wet. I explain as calmly as I can, then walk (limp) into the bedroom and lay down. Of course me, being the weird person I am, ask for clean clothes. Mum starts to laugh but gets me some. She called the doctor and they suggest taking me to the ER, which she did (after I changed). I get right in, they put me in a room for a while, then say I might need surgery, but they don't have any pediatric surgeons there. So they transfer me to Baptist Hospital, blah blah, I spend a couple hours in an ER room there, get a CAT scan, x-rays, etc, get transferred to the children's' ward, get visitors, go to sleep, get woken up at 12, 4, 6, and 8 AM, get more visitors and numerous phone calls....crazy day. But here I am, bearing handfuls of gift bags and cards.
We counted up 29 different visitors in those 2 days. I love my church. x3
Right-oh then. Needless to say I'm not running camera in Elevate, but I said I would run Media Shout (a nice, easy, sit-down job which I rather enjoy).
I did have some pretty cute resident doctors though. One looked like a young Keanu Reeves (Neo in the Matrix), one like Chris Martin (Coldplay's singer/guitarist/pianist), and the others just cute. My nurses were nice too.
I'm tired and it hurts to type. Peace.

My terribly exciting day...
Holy cow, it's hot out there! Thank goodness it wasn't this hot in Alabama...I was soaked after walking for just half an hour. More humid than hot, really.
I miss World Changers. I miss the work, the friends, the worship, the feeling of being useful.
I hope I can get a job this summer. I'd love to work with animals somehow. Maybe training some of my riding teachers' two-year-olds. Or pet-sitting, maybe. Heck, I'd clean bathrooms. I just want something to occupy my time and keep me from being on the computer so much out of boredom.
I had a friend over today...We watched Shrek 2, rode Flash a bit, and talked.
Sorry if I gave you a heart attack! I know, I know, my day's been so insanely crazy!

Mmkay, I'm off to read a book. Ciao.

Wow.
Just...wow.
This week has been awesome. I went to World Changers, and re-roofed a house. You don't need a long explination, but we finished a day early, and it was incredibly fun. My crew was /amazing/. We had Kevin, our crew chief and a totally awesome guy. He was an amazing crew chief, not making us do all the work but not taking over ethier. Plus, his favourite band is Linkin Park, automatically proclaiming him as 'cool'. Mr. Rick, Kevin's dad, was second-in-command, I guess. He did most of the technical work that no one else knew how to do. Then Maggie, crew encourager. She was great, working as hard as anyone and encouraging us all too. Seth was Rick's bodyguard and the official shingle-lifter. Michael was amazing, beating us all in the sweating contest. ;) Will was our devotional leader, and a darn good one. I swear he needs to be a preacher some day. Valarie was great, she painted the edging, helped Rick, and cleaned up, which meant I didn't have to pick up shingles. *happy dance* xD Sara pounds them shingles like a well-oiled machine. Madison was awesome too, she picked up the art of nail-pounding fast and whacked those things like whack-a-mole. Danny really didn't do anything, he drank Gatorade and gave orders. :) No, but really, he was a great worker, if a bit obsessed with his sunglasses. Steve is my idol, he can get those roofing nails in in one whack. One hit! Jenny's had 5 years of roofing and did the valley excellently, earning the title "Valley Queen". Carrie
's a beast. Just a beast.
And, of course, our awesome homeowner, who supplied us with gatorade and chips all week, as well as a party Thursday, complete with pizza, punch, cake, ice cream, and presents. She was beyond amaizng.
And thank God for our tree! That was...incredible. The house stayed at least partially shaded all day. It put the Z in Awesome, yo.
We had a half-day (7:30 to 11:00 instead of 7:30 to 4-5), so technically we finished in 3.5 days. We owe it to our awesome crew, flippin' cool chief, and our tree. So Friday we helped other houses. There were already about a dozen people on the roofs, so I just picked up nails and shingles. *shrug* Also, I found a small orange ball on the ground and hammered it into a crack in the sidewalk, my most amazing feat, No applause, please. *bows*
For any of the Roller Kings that may be reading this, you all OWN! Our crew was amazing, and you were all a vital part of the team. Thanks for tolerating me for a whole week. I love you all!
I'm going to bed soon...bye, now!
