Fun day!

Woohoo! Thursday at about 11:00 AM I ran out to muck the horses' stall before lunch with some of Mum and Dad's friends...That failed. ;P I was walking around behind Flash, who was eating grain, and patted his butt. Apparently I scared him 'cause he jumped, then kicked me, right under my right rib cage. FUN. I've never felt pain like that before. For the first minute I just knew I couldn't bear it, knew I would go unconscious. Finally I rasped out "God, help me!" and felt a bit better. I laid out in the stall for about five minutes (examining the rafters. Whoever built them did a fairly good job, really. They might have used a better-quality wood, though.) before getting up the energy to get the mucking rake out, latch the gate, grab the dog, and walk back inside. Climbing the steps was fun. I collapsed in the laundry room and screamed for Mum. Of course my compassionate, caring brother ambles in after about a minute going "What?" "Get Mom!" "Why?" "GET MOM!" "She's in the shower. What do you need?" "JUST GET HER!" "Why?" I wanted to punch him when Mum runs up in in a towel, dripping wet. I explain as calmly as I can, then walk (limp) into the bedroom and lay down. Of course me, being the weird person I am, ask for clean clothes. Mum starts to laugh but gets me some. She called the doctor and they suggest taking me to the ER, which she did (after I changed). I get right in, they put me in a room for a while, then say I might need surgery, but they don't have any pediatric surgeons there. So they transfer me to Baptist Hospital, blah blah, I spend a couple hours in an ER room there, get a CAT scan, x-rays, etc, get transferred to the children's' ward, get visitors, go to sleep, get woken up at 12, 4, 6, and 8 AM, get more visitors and numerous phone calls....crazy day. But here I am, bearing handfuls of gift bags and cards.

We counted up 29 different visitors in those 2 days. I love my church. x3

Right-oh then. Needless to say I'm not running camera in Elevate, but I said I would run Media Shout (a nice, easy, sit-down job which I rather enjoy).

I did have some pretty cute resident doctors though. One looked like a young Keanu Reeves (Neo in the Matrix), one like Chris Martin (Coldplay's singer/guitarist/pianist), and the others just cute. My nurses were nice too.

I'm tired and it hurts to type. Peace.

Oh gosh, sweetie. I'm glad you're doing better. Sounds like one of my freak accidents, huh, Jason?

Yeah, I think I actually one-upped you once on the freak accident scale, Carey. =)
