Snap.

I went to a halloween get-together with a friend of mine and some of her friends. First time I've ever gone to something that could classify as a 'party'.It was fun-I got a giant bag of candy from trick-or-treating.
I had 3 guys ask for my number, too. It was...Different. Of course I didn't give it to them (I don't even have a cell phone anymore-I broke it, sob), but I also didn't say 'I don't date', which I now regret.
It was sort of strange. I was so surprised I didn't have an answer ready. I would've never expected any normal, red-blooded American boy to come anywhere near me. I've torn myself to pieces so often and to such an extent that any act of interest, I guess, is always taken as politeness.

More when I can sort out my confusion..
Much love,

<3-madd

eh...
Fair. But there is so much to be gained by waiting.

Just a quick thought here,
But I'm pretty sure Annie is the same person as MG.
Look at the times of the comments.

Hey, don't regret it, Katy. You don't need to be worrying about that at your age (I'm sure you've heard that a billion times). Really, that shouldn't be a worry at any age. Just be content with the Lord and keep it to friendship with guys (romance messes everything up).

The whole attraction thing is weird at first, isn't it? I was 16 before any guy made moves on me and it freaked me out. Now... I don't take any member of the male persuasion seriously.

Your phone broke? *sniff* Is the number I have your cell or home phone?

wow, I've never had a guy ask me for my number. and yey! first "Party" Über cool!

Don't worry about not having told them you don't date. Now that I think about it, I don't really think that every guy/body out there needs to know that.

I can't finish that thought, but so I don't lose it totally, I'll post this and may come back to further explain.

There rarely is a need for a guy asking your number, Joy. He can just find your number on the Internet. lol

By Blogger Carey, at 7:04 AM

Don't EVEN get me started on THAT Carey...

By Blogger ~*Joyzey*~, at 12:16 PM

Thank you, Jason. I appreciate it.

Annie-so amny casual and innocent relationships have ended with a pregnant girl and a broken heart. I'd much rather just stay away.

Carey, I think you have my cell number. If you'll email me, I can give you my home. I still have yours, though.

Joy, you're so pretty all the guys have to shield their eyes and can't get the nerve to ask for your number. That's my explination.

Carey, that freaks me out, too. Not a good thing.

well, i'm not advocating having sex! you can't get pregnant without having sex. hanging out and dating DOES NOT mean you have to have sex with a person.

Annie,
Are you gonna answer my question?
Are you MG?

Madd-From one Christian to another-Please be careful about saying things such as "duh". Especially someplace where the word is all we can see. To many people, saying "duh" can almost be a personal attack on their intelligence and worth. I believe you meant "duh" as in you agree with the statement, but please be careful in the future. The Bible tells us to avoid even the appearance of evil, and this is one case where I think that applies.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10:46 AM

And I do agree totally with your views on dating. Way to go, girl!

Fed Up-you're right. Thanks for pointing that out. I apologize if I came off as insulting your intelligence, Annie.

Madd-I see you went so far as to delete your comment. That shows a lot of maturity. I'm proud of you! And God is proud of you too!

Sorry, Joy.

It is rather creepy that I guy doesn't have to ask for a girl's number anymore. He can just find her on the internet... creepy.

By Blogger Carey, at 2:48 PM

I said "creepy" twice. That was redundant. lol

By Blogger Carey, at 2:48 PM

Did I tell you the real story of what happened? I can't remember, but it almost sounds like I did.

By Blogger ~*Joyzey*~, at 6:10 PM

Yeah, I think so. You were depressed about your debate coach leaving... he finds your number, calls you... you have to explain to parents about guy calling... that story?

By Blogger Carey, at 9:06 PM

Yeah, but the good news was the guy was nice enough to talk to them for me ;).

We're friends now, so its all good.

By Blogger ~*Joyzey*~, at 11:26 PM

Hmm... good, I think.
